Rum Chata Cheesecake Pudding Shots
Rum Chata is the perfect blend of rum, cream, cinnamon and vanilla. When mixed with cheesecake pudding and whipped cream, these easy make-ahead, crowd-pleasing pudding shots are simply the best desserts around.
*Contains alcohol, age 21+
What you'll need: Serves 20 3 oz cups
1 1/4 cups RumChata
1 1/4 cup milk (2% or whole)
2 - 3.4oz boxes cheesecake flavored instant pudding
8 oz container Cool Whip, defrosted
8 Cinnamon Graham Crackers, crushed into crumbs
How to make it:
Crunch up the graham crackers into crumbs and spoon about 1 teaspoon in the bottom of each shot glass.
In a large bowl, whisk together the Rum Chata, milk, and pudding mix with an electric mixer. Blend for 2 minutes until thickened. Place the bowl into the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes. Once it has set up, fold in the Cool Whip.
Spoon in the rum pudding mixture into each cup, filling half way. Add another teaspoon of graham cracker crumbs, then fill the rest of the cup with more pudding.
Place in the fridge for at least 1 hour to chill. A 9x13 cake pan was perfect for housing 20 of the cups. Use tape to square out holes over the pan if necessary.
Sift a little cinnamon on top for garnish. Just before serving, stick a piece of cinnamon graham cracker in the top.
