Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Prosciutto
When brussel sprouts are roasted until slightly crispy, and paired with prosciutto (or bacon), garlic and a balsamic reduction, they become a delicious appetizer or side dish you'll begin to make again and again.
What you'll need: Serves 4-6
1 lb brussel sprouts
onion powder
garlic powder
salt
3 oz prosciutto
1-2 tsp balsamic glaze
~3 Tbsp olive oil
How to make it:
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Slice the brussel sprouts lengthwise and place on a baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil all over, and sprinkle with a few pinches of salt, and garlic and onion powders. Toss with your hands.
Lay the flat sides down on the pan. Tear prosciutto into small pieces and spread them throughout the pan.
Bake on the bottom rack for 30-35 minutes, giving them a stir at the half-way mark. They'll become beautifully crispy.
Drizzle a little balsamic glaze all over the brussel sprouts and give a quick toss.
Serve and enjoy!
