Pomegranate Margarita
I love a good margarita. This one is easy to make and perfect for the holidays! The pomegranate ice cubes give a nice festive touch to this deliciously tart, classic cocktail.
What you'll need: Makes 1 drink
For the ice cubes:
16oz POM Wonderful juice
1 pomegranate or POM seeds in a cup
1/2 lime, juiced
Round ice cube tray
For the cocktail:
2 oz blanco tequila
1 oz orange liqueur (Grand Marnier is my favorite)
4 oz club soda (or lime sparkling water)
Squeeze of lime juice
Garnish with fresh rosemary sprig
For the rim:
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp sugar
How to make it:
Freeze POM juice with pomegranate seeds and a squeeze of lime in an ice cube tray overnight.
Smudge a lime on the rim of a margarita glass and dip in a mix of salt and sugar.
Fill the glass with frozen pomegranate juice cubes. Then, add the tequila, orange liqueur, club soda, and a squeeze of lime. Garnish and enjoy responsibly!
