Homemade Pesto

The best pesto is homemade. It’s a no-fail herby sauce made with many variations. The best herbs to make it with are basil, cilantro, or parsley; and you can use any nut you like from almonds, pine nuts, walnuts, and more. It’s great on sandwiches and pasta, or as a dip for breads. Enjoy any way you like!


What you’ll need:
1 cup basil leaves
2 Tbl slivered almonds
1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
Squeeze of lemon juice
1 garlic clove, smashed
Pinch or salt and pepper
~1/4 cup olive oil

How to make it:
Slowly add in extra virgin olive oil into a food processor and mix until emulsified and fully broken down.
