Espresso Martini Affogato

If an espresso martini and a classic affogato had a deliciously boozy baby, this would be it. Rich vanilla ice cream meets hot espresso, coffee liqueur, and a splash of vodka for a dessert that’s equal parts indulgent and grown-up. It’s the perfect way to end a dinner party—or treat yourself on a Tuesday night. Serve it in a fancy glass, add some chocolate shavings, and watch it disappear.

What you'll need:
2 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 oz vodka
1 oz coffee liqueur (like Kahlúa)
1 oz hot espresso (or strong brewed coffee)

How to make it:
Brew one shot of espresso. Set aside to cool slightly.

In a small glass, mix together vodka, Kahlua and cooled espresso.

Place 2 scoops of ice cream into a martini glass. Pour the warm mixture slowly over the ice cream.

Optional: Top with chocolate shavings, dusting of cocoa powder, or a little drizzle of chocolate syrup if you like.

Enjoy!
