Balsamic Glaze
This balsamic glaze recipe needs just two basic ingredients: balsamic vinegar and raw honey. It’s as simple as that! Drizzle over salads, steak, brussels sprouts, capresé, pizza, bread dip with oil, roasted veggies, and more.
What you'll need:
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
2 Tbsp honey
How to make it:
Using a small saucepan, bring vinegar and honey to a slight simmer over medium heat. Pay attention to it as it can overheat and burn. Keep the heat low and stir often, do not let it boil. The sauce will thicken and reduce in quantity in about 15-20 minutes.
Once it coats the back of a spoon without dripping right off, it's done. Add more or less sweeter depending on the acidity lever you’re after.
Allow to completely cool, then store in the fridge for 2 weeks.
