Bacon Jalapeño Popper Crescent Roll-ups
These bacon and jalapeño popper crescent roll-ups are an easy and delicious app that’s perfect for your next get-together. They’re a fun reinvention of the jalapeño popper ‘wheel’!
What you'll need: Serves 4-6
8 oz refrigerated crescent dough sheet
5-6 slices bacon
6 oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp milk
1 Tbsp fresh chives, finely diced
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
1-2 jalapeños, diced
¾ cup cheddar cheese, shredded
How to make it:
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Cook the bacon on the stovetop, or your favorite method, until cooked. Chop into small bits pieces.
In a small bowl, stir together the cream cheese, milk, chives, garlic powder, and salt.
Lay the crescent dough sheet out onto a large cutting board. Gently spread it out until 1/4" thick, pinching the seams together.
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the dough sheet.
Sprinkle evenly with chopped bacon, diced jalapeno, and shredded cheese.
Roll the dough sheet up like cinnamon rolls. Using a serrated knife, cut the roll in half and then cut each half into four pieces, and so on until each piece is about 1 inch wide. 14-16 pieces is good.
Place the roll-ups onto the prepared baking sheet, keeping an inch or two distance to keep from baking into each other.
Bake in the preheated oven for 9-11 minutes, until golden brown.
Serve warm and enjoy!
