Avocado Hummus

Marrying guacamole and hummus really is the best of both worlds. It’s creamy and flavorful, incredibly versatile so feel free to get creative with it. It’s perfect for pairing with chips, veggies, or spreading on toast.


What you'll need:
2 medium avocados
1 can chickpeas
2 garlic cloves, peeled
2 tablespoons lime juice (approx. 1 lime)
3 Tbl cilantro (about 20 sprigs)
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
freshly ground black pepper
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp water

Optional toppings:
flaky salt
pico de gallo
chopped cucumbers
diced jalapeños 
cotija cheese
cilantro leaves
hot sauce

How to make it:
Drain and rinse chickpeas. Add chickpeas to a blender or food processor along with the remaining hummus ingredients. Pulse a few times, then blend until desired consistency.

Season with salt and more lime juice to taste.

Pour into a small serving bowl.

Top with your favorite toppings.

Dip into the hummus with salsa chips or pita bread and enjoy!
