Apple & Prosciutto Grilled Cheese

This grilled cheese is salty, rich and deliciously fresh. The combination of sweet apples and salty prosciutto smothered in tangy sharp white cheddar is chef's kiss. This one is worth a try!

What you'll need: Serves 1
2 slices plain Italian bread
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 Granny smith apple, thinly sliced
1/4 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella
6 slices prosciutto
Arugula
Honey

How to make it:
Butter one side of each slice of bread.

Shred the cheese. Be sure to do it yourself for maximum meltability. Pre-shredded cheese has preservatives that prohibit it to fully melt and become gooey.

Sprinkle on non-buttered side of one slice of bread.

Thinly slice the apple. Lay pieces on top of the cheese.

Add the prosciutto. Then top with arugula and more cheese.

Spread on a little honey on the other slice of bread.

Place butter side down in a skillet over medium heat.

Cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Flip and cook again.

Serve hot, and enjoy!
